Then let them know that the opening of Enchanted should be traditional, if anything, so as to not give away the Rapunzel look before that movie is ready to roll.

Me too!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

I was watching Shrek 2 the other day and it made me really wish someone would make a cool CG fairytale (that, y'know, wasn't a comedy like Shrek). I hope Rupunzel is that movie.

i do also hope that rapunzel wont be a comedy-knock off. I hope that it is a TRUE fairy tale and we get to see maybe even a hint of classic disney magic behind it. heck not just a hint the whole enchilada!! ugh 2009 is soooo far away. gah. i hope that they realese some new images to quench my thirst for this movie.

From what we've heard, the movie is be re-tooled to combine CG with a "certain amount" of hand-drawn animation.

I don't know what that means, but wouldn't it be cool to have a whole feature that looks as rich as the Steadfast Tin Soldier sequence in Fantasia/2000?

Yummy... :)

Whoaa, whoaa! So there are definitely songs in it? If that's true, I don't think I'm gonna be able to breathe for the next 30 minutes.

I have thought that exact same thing many times, Ben. The answer is always, "YES!!!" :)

The person listed on IMDB is Jeanine Tesori, who penned songs for the Broadway musical Caroline, or Change. Tesori also wrote most of the songs for Mulan II and "Feel Like A Million" for Kronk's New Groove.
