This'll be handled by the live-action side of things, as was the first film, as I would understand it, so nothing to do with Lasseter, though it would be much better to work directly with Animation on it.
What's the betting the opposites are switched, as with most sequels. So, starting off in live-action and then finding a reason for them to "have" to go back to animation, either for a big central action sequence, or indeed for the entire ending?
There are certain films - Night At The Museum being another - that should really be one offs.

And I just heard that Fox is doing a "Night at the Museum 3," too.
Thing that makes me skeptical about this is Kevin Lima not returning to direct. He's a guy who really seems to "get" Disney, so I'm not sure if the sequel will have the same kind of magic without him involved.

Re: Enchanted
Here's a new interview with Alan Menken, in which he's asked about the status of the Enchanted sequel. It starts at 3:24. In short, nothing new. Still in the early stages and it hasn't been greenlit yet. Starting to feel a little like Avatar.

Re: Enchanted
Disenchanted finally confirmed for Disney+. Amy Adams will return. Would've preferred theatrical, but still pretty exiting!

Of course not a "real" film at this point. Make ‘em cheap and churn 'em out for D+...

Looks like Maya Rudolph will play the villain. That should be fun.
