You're right, Daniel. Smile IGN has some info on the game.
Looks interesting, but I wish they had some screenshots from it! :?
(thanks, though, Josh!)

EDIT: I did find this on GameSpot: :)

THQ cooking up Ratatouille
Game tie-in for Pixar's next CG comedy will arrive on numerous platforms next summer, including the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii.
By Tor Thorsen, GameSpot

Besides its WWE and Nickelodeon games, THQ's most successful license is its adaptations of the computer-animated blockbusters from Pixar. In August 2004, the publisher and the animation studio signed a deal that would give THQ rights to make games based on Pixar's next four films. The deal certainly paid off, as THQ claims that, to date, it has shipped 25 million units of games based on various Pixar offerings.

A scene from Ratatouille.

Following the success of games based on The Incredibles and Cars--the latter of which was singled out in a recent upbeat earnings report--THQ today announced it will also be adapting Pixar's 2007 feature, Ratatouille. Cowritten and directed by Incredibles creator Brad Bird, the comedy tells the tale of a young gastronome who dreams of becoming a famous Parisian chef. Unfortunately, the budding cook also happens to be a rat--a fact which bars him from working in most restaurants' kitchens.

As one would expect given its release date, Ratatouille will be released for all three next-gen systems: The Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. It is also set to come to the PlayStation 2, GameCube, PlayStation Portable, DS, PC, Macintosh, and Game Boy Advance. Development is being performed at several outlets of THQ's worldwide studio system under the supervision of Heavy Iron Studios (The Incredibles: Rise of the Underminer). THQ Wireless is also prepping several mobile phone games based on Ratatouille.

Like its culinary namesake, Ratatouille will apparently be a mix of various genres. According to THQ, it will combine both cooking-based minigames and stealthy platforming, allowing "players to create culinary masterpieces, evade detection from dangerous and often hungry enemies, and brave the perils of the dinner rush."

This is an old video someone shot of Brad Bird and John Lassetter in a "light sabre duel" except with forks, on Lucas' ranch after one of the first ever screenings of "Revenge of the Sith." (for Lucas' close friends like Spielberg, etc...)

Note: You have to have the latest Quicktime installed.

I originally saw it here:

Whoooaaa! :) This looks brilliant :) If you combine all those characters with beautiful visuals, seamless animation and that mood from Japanese/Chinese version you'll clearly see that the movie you'll get is going to be exceptional :) All that puppeteer stuff and voice of Ian Holm... really cool! Now, please give me an HD version, for gods sake !!! ;)
