Well, there is the comic strip Krazy Kat, in which the 'kat' is variously referred to as he/she, him/her, etc .. but is always the object of Offissa Pup's desire, regardless. And Krazy Kat is considered to be among the finest achievements in comics ..

Not that I am at all comparing BARNYARD to Krazy Kat .. just noting that 'mysterious gender' issues are not wholly unique to it ..

For this one joke reason only, it's a shame Steve O didn't stick with the team that did Neutron with him.

You know what's also really strange? For some years I thought Jessica Rabbit was a real Rabbit, because that's what she was called. I always wondered where her ears were....

So, Barnyard didn't do too bad at the B.O. over the weekend! In fact, I think it did better than Ant Bully.

Yeah, I think it made 16 million, something like that.

I think when there are so many animated films being pushed into the market, it's inevitable that only a few will survive.

Aw, I made all the money I was ever gonna make from it, over two years ago ..

I am happy for Steve Oedekerk, though; he had a lot of himself invested in that film ..

Yeah, "Barnyard" is doing quite well, though I still haven't seen it.
