Well, apart from the end where he’s hit by Zurg's incredible shrinking ray and encased in carbo-plastic…!

Pixar has released an advanced track from the soundtrack:
Sounds pretty epic-y! Ah that orchestra.

Quite nice. Shades, intentional or not, of Goldsmith and Horner in there, especially, though not enough for me to make this the first Disney soundtrack I pick up since Poppins Returns… I’ll need to hear more, though I generally love MG's 60s-infused work.

Doesn't help that they haven't released deluxe editions physically as of late, or you probably would've gotten *shudders* Frozen II.

Re: Disney Pixar's Lightyear
I probably would have gotten that before seeing the film, as so often happens, but since there was no physical two-disc I held off…and then saw the film and knew I’d made the right call.
But, yes, if Intrada suddenly came along with a limited edition physical version of the deluxe I’d still probably get it to fill the gap… Help me. Please.

Got to see this on Saturday. I'll have a review up soon, but to answer one question I'm not sure was settled yet: (mild spoilers)

Wow! It settles the argument then - Therefore I won the bet I’ve never made Still it always seemed the most logical option to me! Thank’s for the confirmation, James BTW Can you summarize your overall impression in one world/sentence before your review get published?

Re: Disney Pixar's Lightyear
So…
Who was the "1995 movie" Buzz Lightyear based on…?
And did that movie come out in the summer or on November 22?
(And does it have a de-aged Sam Jackson in it?)

Why isn't the embargo lifted yet? It's the 13th.

Re: Disney Pixar's Lightyear
It was pretty good. Nothing groundbreaking. But nothing terrible. Pretty by-the-numbers and straightforward story. Doesn't hold a candle to the Pixar golden age, but nothing does these days.
