I'm surprised. I didn't know people here were fans of the remakes.

The only live action Disney films I own are Mary Poppins, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted.

"Fan" of the remakes? Hm. It's more of a scholarly approach for me. I certainly do try to enjoy them, but largely I'm interested in seeing what they do with them. A lot the choices - the good, bad, and bizarre - are fascinating to me. They are mostly failed, pointless exercises, to be honest; but they're interesting all the same. And some, like Aladdin, are strangely enjoyable for what they are.

I certainly don’t have them all, but the ones I have we mostly got in to review, or else I probably wouldn’t have picked them up. I think I did buy the second Maleficent, but that’s because I liked the first one. I only ended up with Mulan because it was offered at Disney Rewards and I needed to use points up. I was hoping to land Cinders that same way as I wouldn’t go out of my way to buy the disc, just as I won’t be bothering with Mufasa or White Snow (ECHO, ECHO, ECHO, ECHO…)…!

Oh I see.
I do own Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid on digital because I received the codes, but I didn't count them since I don't own them on Blu-ray, and owning something on digital these days is basically like having Disney+.

Probably a bit betterer, though, as they can’t take those digital files away from you, unlike removing something from D+. The only thing is a corrupted file, although discs can go bad too. Just keep moving them around or making dupes, although probably not that upset to lose those two! ;)
