Ben, I'm not familiar with Rankin/Bass works but if it looks anything like Presto then I’m sure it’s really good.

WALL-E in other Pixar films?:

They forgot WALL-E in the Your Friend The Rat short from the Ratatouille DVD.
(It makes sense that WALL-E is there because, like they said,Mr. Incredible was on a magazine page in Finding Nemo and there was a Nemo toy in Monster Inc.).

Probably faked. I can confirm it is NOT in Toy Story. I have a copy of it on my computer and was ale to easily debunk that one. For the rest I'd have to pull out a DVD, but if one is fake they probably faked them all.

Fake? really? thought I can see your point, how come he already had a final desgin in 1995? (And let's say that he had back then, why it's only out now? why not before Cars? or Ratatouille?).

You know, when I first heard about the film I thought that it's going to be Pixar's worse movie, because I heard that it had no dialogue and what I heard about it made it sounds really dark, sad and bad but now I think that this will be my favorite Pixar with/after Finding Nemo and Ratatouille.

The clip shown tonight was amazing! A little long, but definitely removed any false hopes for the films (in terms of no talking).

I will be there opening night!

New Wall-e image. Not sure but I think this is a live action publicity shot not an actual pic from the film.

Image

"WALL•E, the robot from Disney•Pixar’s next great animated classic “WALL•E,” checks out the Seattle sights, developing a special – though not surprising interest in the city’s landmark Space Needle.

- From Academy Award®-winning writer-director, Andrew Stanton, Disney•Pixar’s WALL•E is the heartfelt story of one robot's comic adventures as he chases his dream across the galaxy. The film opens in theatres Friday, June 27, 2008.

- Built in 1962, the Space Needle served as the symbol of that year's World's Fair. It has since become the symbol of Seattle, and one of the most recognizable structures in the world."
