So... how about that CARS movie from Pixar?

Now THAT looks good! How about we discuss that here? What a great idea, Ben, and we'll stop ripping on each other!

Hey...great! Latino review has one of those new posters up:

I'm sorry. I just don't want people to think I hate Pixar or something.

I definetely want to see Cars and I think it's awesome that Brad Bird is directing Ratatouille.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

(Just ignore any more attacks, Vi...It’s obvious that they hardly ever read anything that we post anyway.)

Anyways, do you guys think the fact that a lot of kids get out of school around the time this is released will help it's B.O. earnings?

This may be the first weekend off for alot of kids, plus the college kids are off (where this movie actually has a remarkably large fanbase considering group dynamics) and kids not off will be dying for a bit of a retreat.

It may be the driving force behind this film. ;)

World Premiere of Cars

Post by PixarVixen » April 24th, 2006, 3:48 am

On May 26th, the World Premiere of Cars will be showing at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since Brandon and I have tickets and will be meeting up there to see it together, we were wondering if anyone else was going. If so, we'd love it if we could meet up with you and possibly get a bite to eat or something before/after the event. Please post here if you are. We'll try to arrange something.

And hey, even if you aren't going and decide to purchase tickets later so you can go and/or meet us, that's cool too. You can go to TicketMaster and get them. Every ticket costs only $10.00. There isn't any special pricing for seating. It's "first come, first serve" when you get to the speedway, so you'd wanna get there early.

I hope to get to see at least one other person there. I love meeting other Pixar fans! ^__^

I wish I could go. But alas, I am a shrimpy teenager and I can't go - I have school work, chores, etc. and there's no way my parents would drive me out-of-state just to see a movie...Cry.

Oh well, there's always 2010.

Just have a great time and take loads of pics for the site and a review!

(And, um, no lovey-dovey stuff in the images. I don't think we could handle that...!) :)
