I saw the movie this afternoon. The movie was cool, with a great ecologic message. Great jokes, great movie. I laughed many times.
A Great Dreamworks movie.
(I think I should stop saying "Great")

Just in:
BEE MOVIE will come to DVD in a two-disc package. That's what we're hearing from Paramount/DreamWorks right now anyway.
They also only list an HD-DVD right now, but that's subject to change too, of course.
Street date is March 11.

I already have
Bee Movie on DVD (as an ASIFA 'screener' copy, for Annies consideration)
.. it's only one disc, with no extras, though .. so I will probably still spring for the 2-disc set, when it comes out.

Here's a look at the DVD
cover. Eh, it's ok, could be better. Hope they touch it up a little.
That quote is still funny after all these months, though.

Weird...

Here's the Bee Movie DVD cover, there's 2 version-single edition (the one with Barry and other bees) and 2 discs edition (the one with Barry and Sienfield above):
http://dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=66738
I think it's silly to make everything focous on Sienfield, they're making it look like it's a documentrey film about him or something.
I think it's also silly making a 2 discs version and a single disc edition.
For the cover arts i much preffer the single disc edition's cover (it's much more colorful and prettier, and dosn't make it look like it's a documentery movie about Sienfield).

Nice to see DreamWorks is releasing a 2-disc set. And those look like nice extras.

Arn't they allways?.
The extras are similar to other Dreamworks DVDs and i don't like the first disc focousing on Sienfield.

Aren't they always what? Releasing 2 discs sets? DW hasn't done them, at least for their animated films, in quite sometime.
