I like promotional vector images in that marketing poster. Very simple but very cute. From what I see it seems like they are aiming to please a younger crowd with the two current images hopefully hitting the market of little boys. Then again it is impossible to tell since there is so little out on the movie.

Just goes to show how much better things keep looking in hand-drawn images.
I'll always remember seeing those Incredibles pencil sketches and being disappointed that the final characters shared none of that vitality and energy inherent in them.
Love that the DVD release is already set. Honestly, between Potter and Bond, does Bolt stand a chance either?

True, but in my opinion WDFA (or WDAS) needs something daring and original, like Pixar's WALL-E, to restore their reputation. The LAST thing they need is another "cute" movie. Playing it safe at this stage, in my opinion, is not going to do them any favors.

If you go to this site and click on the image of Byron Howard, you can see more "Bolt" artwork in the background-

Pretty interesting:

Some talkback about Bolt/Disney Feature:
This is very encouraging, but marred somewhat with talk that some of the future traditional films they're planning might have some outsourcing...not too clear about this.

Mark Henn is the Sup.Animator on Tiana.
RE: Bolt...95% of anyone you talk to who saw the screening *literally* raved about the story, the look, the humor, etc. The film turned a corner and has blossomed into something to be very proud of as a studio.

Very encouraging!
