I now have the Kung Fu Panda PS2 game and there's a trailer to the Madagascar 2 game.
It's still titled The Crate Escape, there's a male hippo, lots of monkeys similar to the monkeys in the first film and there's something with buffalos that looks like The Lion King, the game itself looks a lot like the first one.

Aha, so there will be a video game! Thanks, Once. I take it since the trailer was on the PS2 game, Mad 2 will be on both PS2 & PS3?
That is weired that it's still called "The Crate Escape", perhaps when we get closer to the release date they'll update the title. I am however happy about the male hippo tidbit! Hopefully that's a sign he'll be in the movie and end up with Gloria, instead of that atrocious idea of a love story between her and Melman.

You"re wellcome yeah,I guess so .
Werid, now the official website says it's Escape To Africa, here's the official website:
http://www.madagascargame.com/us/
The trailer is the same one from the Kung Fu Panda game only updated, also notice there's a clipart of the male hippo in the end which means he is from the movie.
I thought he's her brother, well,Dreamworks is known for interspecies love stories:
Dragon and Donkey.
Barry and Venesa.
From what I saw in the game,Po's father is a bird.
Lola and Crazy Joe.

Hey, did you guys know that the Madagascar series was *always* intended to be 27 movies all along?
I just heard direct from JK that they changed the name because they actually escape from a crate in the planned eight movie, so they didn't want to use the title early.
JK said that the films would span the real life cycle of two generations of animals, providing a real story arc in "animation realtime" - I dunno, I guess that's one of his new buzz phrases.

Because if that's true, JK has officially lost it in my book...
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."
