Still not sure where you're coming from with a remark like that. For a teacher with a "friend" in Disney's web organisation, you sure do land a lot of pre-release info, a little too much probably, which leads me to think you are very much more than that, despite rejections of that thought.JustinWilliams wrote:We would say that though - nod nod wink wink
Nothing wrong either way, but "nod nod wink wink" doesn't click.

I'm not from America so 'we' Brits would say our site was better (Hence, 'nod nod wink wink') . I didn't want to start off a war of UK/USA comparisons. It was to suggest a mocking tone. I'm Welsh actually. But until Disney.cym exists, I'll support the Birts I truly am a Drama and English teacher in Cheshire. Though as you say, I have told you that before.

I saw Enchanted today at a press screening in Paris, and I left the thatre with a huge smile on my face. The Disney touch of magic I missed for so long at Christmas is back.
The film is not a stupid pop references nonsense parody, but a beautiful tribute to the Disney classics with a modern twist that refresh the fairytale spirit. It's funny (very at moments), touching (wonderful scenes) and very entertaining. Amy Adams is gorgeous and is really convincing as the Princess lost in the real world, naive and touching. The songs, yet so few, are wonderful, True Love Kiss is a perfect opening, Happy Working Song is hilarious and How Does She Knows is pure Broadway in the middle of Central Park (Loved it!). There's a lot of cameos to catch for Disney fans (Jodi Benson, Paige O'Hara...MINOR SPOILER:/SPOILER) and some fun facts hidden in the movie (Some famous Disney Menken tunes are incorporated discretly in the score).

Marsden is a real treat and funny (character reminiscent of Gaston from BatB and Joey in Friends IMO), Dempsey is casually efficient , Idina Menzel is beauty too (SPOILER;) and as for Sarandon she Rocks but seen not enough (she appears live at the 3/4 of the movie). The animated beginning brings back nostalgic memories to see 2D animation on the big screen, the quality is okay for the onscreen time. The only bad point is the underwhelmed climax with the dragon ( a bit toony but it's okay with the movie tone ). As for the rest, this is what we expect from a Disney movie, magical experience with memorable characters and great songs. We've been waiting for that for a long time, so don't miss it !

(I know I just signed up on the boards) But thank you all for posting what you find about this movie. I am so excited for it you have no idea. I hope it doesn't disappoint (like Kinoo said it was good ^.^). Then again being a huge fan of 2D I would just be ecstatic watching the same 15 minutes of animation played over and over again for two hours. ^.^
