I wonder if he'll look anything like this:
No matter what anyone says, I'll always love Jack's Joker best!!

On the talkback portion of the Joker link, one of the users has a fake trailer for the Dark Knight as his "signature"--believe it or not, it's VERY convincing; (if brief). I'm not even sure where he got all the images from...
Just had to share it!

Pretty cool...this is probably something that's been leaked that would have played Comic-Con in July.

It's completely awesome. I'm SO stoked for TDK, even if it's not exactly what I was expecting.
Also, I do know that ONE of those images was Aaron Eckhart in
Thank You for Smoking, (I
think) but it's still very convincing.

That Joker shot looks like the real deal, however.
EDIT: On that Aaron Eckhart shot....still not sure. It actually very well could be from
TDK, as there's a white placecard that says "Mr. Dent." Hmmm....
(It just really resembled a scene from
Thank You For Smoking is all.

It could be, but then again, it might not. It sure looks like Heath with that mask on, and very similar to that "fake" (but actually not that far off) Joker pic that ciruclated on the 'net a while ago.
I guess we'll wait and see....

Wel it's fake, the Batman/Bruce Wayne shots are from Batman Begins.

I agree that some of the shots are fake (definitely the "Harvey Dent" one) but the Joker one of him donning his mask looked real. Guess there's no way to know right now though.....

No it's fake too, I'm sure that some graphics took footage of a Heath Ledger movie and painted make up all over his face. The design is not the same as the official moreover.

I could be wrong, but (I'm guessing) that the official pic with his lipstick all smeared and the cuts on his face is what he looks like very shortly after he becomes the Joker, and that the mask picture in the mostly fake trailer is what he'll look like for most of the film.
The design is different than the
official picture that was released, but I think Ben said in another thread that the older, fake "Ledger/Orlando Bloom" pic was actually
not that different than what we're going to see.
Just a theory.

that looks cool! That leaning right into the camera shot has that mystery about it. What's going on in that scene I wonder.

Some commentary on these recent images we've gotten: (much of it negative.)
http://www.animationnation.com/cgi-bin/ ... 8;t=002478
Personally, I mostly like it. I think that the whole thing with the Joker is that it isn't ONLY in how he looks but how he acts, his voice, mannerisms, actions are all really important too. I'm waiting until we see that to make any real judgment.
Case in point: Many didn't like the '97 re-vamp of the Joker in The New Batman Adventures, but Mark Hammill was just as awesome even with that look. Yes, it was animated, but you could also argue that in an animated series, the look is even more important than a live-action film. And even with that look, the Joker was still a great character.
(My only concern is with that grin/scarring thing. I REALLY hope Nolan makes it clear that the smile is a disfigurement, not just "painted on".

)
