Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
I at least managed to see Onward in a theater before Global Closing Time.
Although I did wonder why there was such a crowd at the Trader Joe's next door at the mall...

Jason Momoa reportedly offered the role of Knuckles. I can dig it.

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
Finally started watching the first movie out of curiosity (since Paramount, who missed out on Ultraviolet and the Digital VOD gold-rush, had to send their blockbusters direct from theaters to streaming, so folks got to watch Star Trek: Beyond, the Mission: Impossible and Ninja Turtles movies, Monster Trucks and Dora the Explorer on Amazon Prime sooner than expected), and all I can say is:
Paramount still makes movies the old fashioned way. Like, from the 80's and 90's.
(More specifically, if CGI didn't exist, and Sonic was a guy in a suit..this WOULD be Howard the Duck. Okay, and if they added a girl rock band.)

Re: Sonic the Hedgehog
What a gype. Oh well, it wasn't really much. Just someone filming from a distance, bad guys cornering good guys, snowy set, possible wedding, Sonic puppet being used, Tails name being said. That's about it in a nutshell.
