Once upon a dream- It would stop if they fail at the box-office... you can be hopeful that Hollywood would stop this madness... And I hate the garfield movie and scooby doo film as well
Macaluso- Don't mean to burst your bubble or anything but however I dont that would happen

Maybe we can help it fail?

.
The Scooby Doo films are bad,the first one is okay thought, the Garfield films are worse because they just "stole" Garfield and other characters and made them into something he's not.
Macaluso-Be hopeful.

Seeing how that alvin and the chipmunks was a success due to little kids begging for there parents to see this I think we should get a less audience to watch this [DELETED FOR UNSUITABLE LANGUAGE]
In order for this to work we need to spread the word. In any Because if this {tom and jerry} cgi/live-action movie happens I would be mad and ask myself "Are they trying to tick us off here?"
Also look at the IMDB pages of the movies based on the cartoons we grew up with....Rated low and they deserved it.
if they make if they make a live-action movie based on pokemon god does that anime suck or what?[/b]

You really need to watch what you say, DB. I took out the offending word and edited your last sentence, since that was bordline as well.

I have a better idea: why don't post messages that make sense? That would stop driving all of us crazy!

I have a bunch of friends that hate live-action movies based on cartoons....Anyways just to get back onto topic if all the animated characters in this movie are in CGI I hope they make that bulldog creepy in CGI.

So...creating these things in CG. Isn't that "animation"? So it's not live-action then? Is there a point? No.
Stop the menace? I was trying but obviously aimed way too high...

Ben sometimes CG can be either a good thing or a bad thing{if not done carefully and right}. The only CG movie that has amazed me was Pixar's Finding nemo{and THAT is a CG movie that was done with pride and done right in my point of view}
But putting a classic cartoon character that you grew up with and make him/her look different is wrong. Warner Bros complety ruined Scooby-doo for me, CG scooby creeped me out. And now they are going to ruin my favorite cat and mouse duo with this, makes me want to cry ): Now this is just to far, If I ever make movies will be original and not doing something else like this garbage.

I'm with ya, man. I see ads for movies like "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" and I know I could do better than that. Eventually (if I can ever get myself motivated) I'm gonna prove it too.

It's like they think that hand drawn animation isn't "real" but CGI and live action are "real" which isn't true at all.

Once upon a Dream is right, Hand-drawn animation and live-action has worked for things like Anchors away, Roger Rabbit, Rock-a-doodle, Heavy Traffic, Coonskin, and other movies for that matter.... I think do to a CGI success of films Hollywood is stupid enough to belive that CGI/live-action works...

Yeah

.
Also they don't think that hand drawn animation is real but CGI is.
And let's hope it will fail.
