Well, I guess that's cleared up.

Maybe ShyViolet doesn't like that style.
I don't mind good jokes but the animation, direction and execution of these cartoons (House of Mouse) is about as heavy-handed as a cartoon mallet. They are SO OVER-DONE w/out anything really behind them, NEVER seen anything that defines *CORPORATE SOULESS-NESS* better than this show.

Just off the top of my head:

The jokes aren't funny
The drawings are bad
Hewy, Dewy and Louie talk just like Donald (huh?)
Mickey is a jerk, not a happy-go-lucky good guy.

and last but not least.....

The cartoons are blatant RIP-OFFS of classic Disney cartoons. The plots, the drawings, everything. Nothing original whatsoever.

And IMHO, putting characters that don't belong together just DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Sorry, it just doesn't!

House of Mouse is EVIL!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

We're suppose to be talking about FAHII not HOM which isn't even a full length motion picture. :D

And as for that.... I got nothing. Oh wait the animation is *crappy*. It's just awful. This is one of these sequels that are suppose to turn a profit but I bet it wont. Therefore they're wasting time and money. However, for the kids probably not but for me... hell no!!!

Sounds like the original Mickey.

13 New Fox and the Hound 2 Images

Post by JustinWilliams » December 11th, 2005, 8:58 am

Not expected to be the biggest hit of 2006, but thought they'd be of interest - on Kronk's New Groove there's a trailer for 'The Fox and the Hound 2'. The following link you'll discover 13 images from the trailer (C) Disney.

it looks.. home on the range-ish.. only ten times worse.. and Patrick Swayze? I'm sorry, but I hold the original quit dear. I'll pass on this thing.

Never even saw the original . . . or if I did I don't remember it. From what I hear about it though it is maybe about the quality of a run-of-the-mill direct-to-video title.

Justin, if you can put up images from that maybe you could write us a review of the new Donald Duck Treasures DVD.

The original is pretty good. The fox is so damned cute it's ridiculous. Oh yeah, and the big black woman owl. You can't beat that.

Original's lovely

Post by JustinWilliams » December 12th, 2005, 4:45 am

The original is lovely - it's sweet, moving and moral. The new feature looks like the animation of Patch's London Adventure - and sometimes like Junkyard Dogs from L&T 2: Scamp's Adventure.... According to the narrative, the focus is on the dog getting so involved with a group of singing dogs that he neglects his fox friend with whom he shared everything.

At least Tod and Copper aren't getting married.
