I can't imagine The Lion King not being a musical, but at the same time I can't picture The Incredibles as a musical (okay, that wasn't Disney, but still.) Musicals have to be done exactly right, too – the songs have to forward the story and not halt it.
Would this be a bad time to mention that I'm writing The Incredibles into a musical???

That would be ALMOST as bad as putting them on ice!

I liked The Incredibles On Ice a lot though. I thought they pulled off the family's powers quite nicely for a live show.

I loved the ice show personally - a little corny but kind of magical. Of course I went to the premeire so that did have a special atmosphere to it.

Ok, back to MTR (I think that's become the phrase for this thread).

Has anyone seen the book that Meet the Robinsons is based on? I'm going to look for it tomorrow. If I find it, I'll post images from it.

So it wasn't just me then? Anyway...

There's so many great bits to pick from the trailer, but my favourite part would have to be the opening part when Bowler Hat Guy turns the light on. The fluidity of his movement is just amazing.[/quote]

Ah yes that is very cool. Though I have to admit I didn't get the reference til it was pointed out to me. I feel deeply ashamed. :(

I didn't get it the first time I saw it either. I did when I watched it again.

And sorry, but I didn't get to go out to search for the book today. I wasn't feeling good. I should have a chance tomorrow.

Okay, PixarVixen and Brandon... relax... we get it!!

Please don't start clogging up the forums with pointless messages - we have to spend time going through these to keep you guys safe from folks like Movie-Man, so could you please cut back on all the knowing references please?

The forums have recently gotten longer and longer just with you guys batting back and forth. Start your own thread up and we'll leave you alone in there, but please..."OH GOD PLEASE!!"...for the sake of the rest of us, try to keep cool and a little less..."excited"?

Thanks youz guys! :)
