Re: Ghostbusters III - OFFICIAL THREAD
So what if Paul Feig complained about the "Ghostbusters Trilogy" disc boxset that came out after Afterlife?
(Well, either leave out the '16 version or leave out Ghostbusters II, it's a tough call...)

Re: Ghostbusters III - OFFICIAL THREAD
I think you said it there yourself: he complained about the Ghostbusters Trilogy box set.
His film wasn’t included because, a) it does not take place in the Reitmanverse, and b) it is total crap. No, GBII isn’t always great, but it sets things up that still come into play in Afterlife. And it’s still more vastly entertaining than the 2016 anomaly, which clearly takes place in a world where Venkman, Stantz and Spengler didn’t exist.
So, yeah, Trilogy. The next one would be a fourth entry in that canon.

Actually, Paul's complaint was for the "Ultimate Collection".

Now that’s a big Twinkie!
After the disappointment of Bat-Flash and the sure to be sucky-sucky-Indy, my hopes rest with Ghostbusters to get the modern nostalgia fest right. Given the last film and where they are going with it, this is potentially awesome.

Re: Ghostbusters III - OFFICIAL THREAD
Prob for the best. It all felt a bit rushed trying to make it for this Christmas. Absolutely no surprise Spideyverse 3 got pushed back…it hasn’t even finished being written (as a final script), let alone voice recorded.
