and the 6 hour timer with tons of live footage led to--a crappy recap reel and 5 seconds of new footage. What a letdown.

Edit--take that back. The 6 hour stream was just to announce the japan release date for the movie and the livestream itself was the big thing. Interviews, game show like events, costume characters integrating with people in the city, cooking segments. This was marvel studios in its prime marketing! Japan is not messing around with this movie!
And sony has made a deal to promote the demon slayer movie in the parks and animated shorts and merch! Sony isn't messing around this time? Are they--gasp! marketing an anime movie!
