I hope both films (Shrek 3 and TS) find their marketing "niche"!

I actually like the Consistency between posters
Image
It's great for the real fans who like the to hang the 3 posters next to each other.

Besides, they always have the classical blue sky poster but theres always an other one as well that looks different:

This new poster...
http://www.joblo.com/shrek-3-poster
I'm I the only one who feels this looks more like a fan made poster then the real thing?
I know it's real but it's just so....well kinda ugly
Man, the franchise must have run out of steam or something

ImageWell, it is a little bland, but I'm really happy they got rid of the the 3. Because, you know, its really Shrek The Third. ;)

Gee, I didn't know the ground was so shiny in Medieval times.

At first glance, it actually looked like their shadows. Silly, DW! :P

Still boring.

They really need to start with some new marketing tricks if they want to push this to a fourth film.

They've even gone back to just having the characters standing in front of the Shrek S. Like jo-blo says, "I'm starting to feel like the whole Shrek thing has run its course".

Nothing new to see - hey, new costumes...amazing! - move along... :(

Hey, has anyone noticed that BOTH the new Shrek the Third and Bee Movie trailers start with the EXACT SAME early-morning Grieg symphony (you know that "early morning" classical theme that's always played in cartoons, forgot the exact name :P)

Kinda screwy....:P

I'm probably like, the only person who would notice something like that.

I think its interesting to note, that I've been seeing non-stop adds for Shrek The Third. And lets just say, they were kinda boring. (Sorry, Vi ;)) Maybe their just trying to keep the good stuff a secret a little longer?

And no, Vi. I didn't noticed that either. That is kind of screwy! :P I'll have to check that out for myself sometime.

The behind the scenes featurette made the movie look better then the trailers did in my eyes.
It didn't look as cheap as the trailers.

French poster:

Did they actually use the same Shrek pose from the first movie cover and add a crown to it ?

Shrek looks so creepy in this one.
But overall, I think it's an improvement over the us poster.

Although this still seems like a work in progress,
The edges of the characters arent' blended in properly
And pinnochio is way too small, When was he the same size as gingy? Remind me :)
Great find Kinoo!! (PS: I fixed your link )
