Oh, yeah, as do I, but it doesn't fit the character is all.

Wait. Glen Keane has left Disney? Shocked
Oh no, I didn' t mean it that way! I just mean, he should be hired back FULL-TIME, like not just for Rupunzal but for future pics as well.
(Sorry for the confusion.)

Phew. Yes, they should have a core of full time guys. 'Specially since JL and GK were friends and all.
I wonder if success has spoilt Rock Hunter?

Oh well of course I know who he is!
I even saw him live on stage back on a High School field trip--he was starring in "Inherit the Wind" on Broadway.
But what I didn't get was....what does he have to do with Pixar/Disney exactly? Is he doing a voice role or something? (Also, wasn't he in the original film
The Odd Couple with Jack Lemmon?)
Sorry, I must be really thick today....

Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? was a 1950's film which starred Tony Randall and Jayne Mansfield. It's
really funny; you should check it out!
I don't know that it has anything to do
directly with the Pixar/Disney situation (I assume Ben was just 'quoting' the title, as a sort of pun) ..
.. but
WSSRH? does have an animation connection: it was written and directed by Frank Tashlin, one of Warner Bros.' "Termite Terrace" cartoon directors! It was actually Tashlin's first 'live-action' directing job, and several of the films' visual gags are very 'cartoon-y,' in the way they're filmed.
And yes .. that was Tony Randall in
The Odd Couple, as well.

(
Jack Lemmon was in the film with Walter Matthau.
Tony Randall was in the TV show with Jack Klugman.

oops! I didn't realize you'd asked if Tony Randall was in the film version of
The Odd Couple, ShyViolet!
I just assumed you meant the TV show. I'll read more carefully, next time.

I always get the film and TV show mixed up!
(And to think, I did a book report on the original Neil Simon play back in eighth grade!

All my references have been answered!!
Droo...wasn't "The Girl Can't Help It" Tash's first live picture, again with Mansfield?
And yes, Vi, you should see "Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?" if for the opening sequence alone. Great stuff!
