Not that James is stalking Margot Robbie…
Actually, I hope that’s her real hair…because otherwise it looks like a pretty awful wig!

For the rest of the movie, her hair should look like this:
...But then she STILL wouldn't be perfect enough!

It would be a such a wasted opportunity if "Barbie Girl" is not included in some fashion. For fun, here's a lush orchestral version:

It's fantastic!

Bummer.
Maybe they could do a slowed down orchestral version for the trailer. I would even settle for a line from Barbie saying "I'm a Barbie girl, in the Barbie world" with a wink. This is just criminal!

Judging from most of what we've heard so far, thought the song was all the director KNEW about the character.
(And besides, "Around the World" was the better earworm Aqua song--Don't call them a "One-hit wonder" if they had two!)

yeh, Mattel has always
hated "Barbie Girl" .. the chances of it being used in this movie are nil.
If I had to choose a favorite Aqua song, it'd be
"Cartoon Heroes" .

Mattel has mellowed with time and even used the song for promotional materials.

Yeah. That’s why this is surprising. I tried to find examples on YouTube but couldn’t, but they have used the song in some official commercials.

I once had to co-write and perform a Barbie Girl-era styled Europop track…for a cartoon walrus called, imaginatively, Wally.
After many years in therapy, I’m all right now, but I’m hoping the brought back memory doesn’t cause a relapse…
