Re: Disney's Raya And The Last Dragon
Unfortunately I only have one option to watch this film unless theaters are opened by then, technically they can but it seems like they don't want to as long as people can't buy food.

If you can’t see it in a cinema, or don’t want to pay the premium D+ fee, just wait for it to go "free" in the summer, or if you can’t get D+, get the 4K, as I probably intend to (either that or I'll pick up the standard Blu).

I like the voice of Boun. Outside of that, the new scene and recap do nothing for me. Their mouths and eyes look like they're overacting by opening and moving too much. A con baby still feels lame. The modern dialogue just takes me out of it...

Yeah... I have a feeling of how this film will turn out, I can already see everything I'm not going to like about it, and yet I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and reserve my judgement. Maybe they'll manage to surprise me.

Re: Disney's Raya And The Last Dragon
I just RE-re-rescheduled the vacation I was supposed to take this month to next February, and now am in Disney-lockdown mode, where I avoid seeing any new opening Disney, Pixar or Marvel movies, so I'll have something to watch in the Disney cruise-ship theater.
(Last time, I had to avoid Moana and Rogue One in theaters, and after seeing the result, I regret nothing.)
I slipped, forgot, and watched Soul on D+, but Raya and Black Widow seem to be the kind I can safely...put off until later, without too much undue anticipation.

The score has been released ahead of the film's release next week, in case anyone is interested. The tack titles don't seem to give any details away.

Up on Youtube, too:
This particular track is giving me Danny Elfman vibes.

shopDisney has a digital adventure activity. If you complete the quest -- learning about the characters and answering three questions -- you can unlock wallpapers and receive a free draw string bag! US addresses only, sadly. Hope it's cute!

The running time will be 114 minutes. If I'm not mistaken, this will be the longest WDAS film excluding Fantasia.
Edit: it's 114 with the short apparently, the movie itself is 107 minutes.

That's right, the embargo for full reviews lifts today. Should be getting a better picture.
