In the middle of all the CGI crap it looks wonderful. Combine visuals like that with Alan Menken tunes and magix is here. Highly anticipating this film.

About that Jim Hill story...The "Happy Working Song" or whatever sounds classic. :)

This past week was held the Enchanted Tour exhibit in Walt Disney Studios Paris, which was reserved to the Press (I believe it will go around Europe for promition) and I had the luck to attend today! It was totally AWESOME!

They recreate two scenes from the movie, the first room was for the animated section with the projection of about a minute of the anmiated sequence (Prince Edward riding and singing on the weddding day, then Gisele in her castle with cute animals). Lots of artworks was exposed! The 2nd room was for the live action section and reprensented Time Square. All the main characters were fetaured in a window with a featurette about their character and the real costume from the shooting. Susan Sarando's Narissa KICKS A*S! There's a moment when she cross a street stopping all the cars and walking very dragqueen-like (a great Disney Villain for sure!). Some MINOR spoilers to come:

- We also saw many featurettes about the movie: Genese (Disney Inspiration), Music (with Alan Menken), Romantic Comedy ( Actors) etc.. and as a special treat, the entire song of "The Working Song" wich see Gisele singing and cleaning the bathroom with in the role of the cutre animals: Pigeons, rats and coackroaches (HILARIOUS!).
We also saw many concept-art with Narissa as a dragon and some CG test of the dragon on a NY building!

I'm so excited about the movie now! It is a nice mock-up but VERY RESPECTFUL of the fairy tales movies we adore (not dumb pop cultures à la Shrek or Red R.Hood). I really can't wait. In Europe, the promotion will be huge, it will be THE Disney movie of Christmas, the promotion wil start in Summer. Totally eclipsing Robinson (release in October in France).

Unfortunately, no pics or vids were allowed, but i guess we'll see the featurettes online Idon't know when!

hey.... on the main page, Kinoo is being credited for pointing out the article. did he beat me to it? it's fine if he did, but the link goes to this thread where I linked to the article.

anyway, I agree it looks slightly DTV-ish. But I'd rather see DTV quality with new characters and a fun perspective on the formulaic Disney story than Cinderella IV.

this looks pretty good.
