The first flea shown in Your Friend the Rat is indeed P.T. Flea from A Bug's Life, of course he is far more noticeable than WALL•E. Heheh.

I've found myself increasingly disinterested in Pixar's shorts which mostly seem to run one gag about as far as they can get away with it. Your Friend the Rat though is GREAT stuff, nearly surreal at times and very intelligent. Remy yelling out 'It's in their DNA!' was the best.

I don't think I'd be that harsh about it, but I would agree that Cars was the closest Pixar ever came to doing a Dreamworks movie. It'll never be on the top of my Pixar list.

I really need to get the Ratatouille DVD but I'm broke right now :(

What a good find Pixarvixen. I love when pixar does stuff like that. I remember getting so excited watching Monsters Inc for the first time and seeing Nemo in it ^.^

I wasn't sure if I was too light on it, but it truly struck me as something special. Shame about the lacklustre disc treatment, but it deserves to be discovered under quite a few trees this Christmas over bloated Pirates fare and empty green ogre threequels.

Meh? ;) Got mine at Wal-Mart yesterday for $12.99, so I'm finally going to be seeing Ratatouille after what seems a year. Yay!
