Just keep telling yourself "this was the 90s, this was the 90s", and you’ll be okay.

Here’s where Space Jam rates for me and a pal that I went to see it with: at Elstree Studios on an end of week Friday night, the private bar often had...erm...some "adult entertainment" of the female kind, for the hard-working mostly male craftspeople who would pack the place, enjoy the sights and buy more beer. Since we had an office there in the period SJ came out, we would be around when these nights took place. I’m not sure what this says of us, and I don’t think we would really care, but I know we were both pleased to have an excuse to miss this particular evening and go see Bugs and Co instead (insert furry bunny jokes here)!

Despite Space Jam being a Roger Rabbit wannabe while being no Roger Rabbit itself, I still think we made the right choice that night, however you want to take that!

Looks insane on so many levels! The song - welcome to the jam! Love the endless amount of Easter egg cameos... kinda fitting what with Easter tomorrow! So cool to see Hanna Barbera 'toons in CG! They even let Yosemite Sam use guns. Disappointed that the Goon Squad are just some generic monster people and that Tweety sounds likes he's going through puberty. That aside, I was already on board but the trailer clinches it. Bring it on!

Love how he actually gets turned into a cartoon this time! :)

(I wonder what happened to the Loonies? :?: )
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Lola will now be voiced by Zendaya. Eww! So much for Kath Soucie returning. That kind of kills it for me now... If they were going to change her voice anyway, why not just get Kristen Wiig back!? Terrible news. :(

I like Zendaya, so I'm fine with this for now. Will have to hear her as Lola before making a final call.

Some people don't think it's marty now but the shot is blurry so we don't know who it is.

Also neat touch when bugs is 2d before changing into cg he is wearing his 90s tune squad outfit!

Also people are asking where is beetlejuice and gremlins.

Folks have been playing around with this almost right away. Like this fan edit to suggest Shrek is in there. https://twitter.com/jacksfilms/status/1 ... 4471689219

I noticed that when LeBron passes through the Wizard of Oz world, he changes into a sepia tone. That's so cool and a real nice touch.

Pepé Le Pew was included in this weeks SNL opening: (2:40 mark/mild language)

They could've solved the whole Pepe Le Pew "controversy" by having him in the audience without making a big deal about it.

Or by having him do something like hit on Lola, get beat up by her, and Lebron is like "Dude, where the heck you think you're from?" and he mutters, through pain, "a different era."

Also, as many have noted online, weird that Pepe isn't allowed...but the singing violent rapists from A Clockwork Orange are. :? (Not that I'm advocating for them being removed, simply pointing out the irony)
"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift--that is why it's called the present."
