Does anyone know what the
Smurfs Christmas Carol and
The Smurfs Sleepy Hollow DVDs are? What I mean is are they new stories or simply episodes of the old TV series re-wrapped in new movie CGI beginning and ending? The Sleepy Hollow box shows both the CGI Smurfs from the new live action movie and the old cell animation characters.
I've already got the two Complete Smurfs TV series collections (and the previously released mixed up DVDs

), so don't really want to buy these if they're just re-wrapped versions.

The specials are new and mostly cel animated, with framing sequences in CGI, if I recall.

Thanks. I'll have to pick them up then to add to The Smurfs collection. I saw them at the local supermarket for NZ$9 each, but will check how much they are at the proper DVD shops first.

I believe they're also included as extras on The Smurfs and Smurfs 2 Blu-rays...I *think*...

I know the Christmas Carol was ... but the live-action / CGI so-called "Smurfs" movies are appalling rubbish (just more of current day lazy Hollyweird's butchering of the past

), so I didn't want to buy the DVDs / Blu-rays for those.

Oddly, the Christmas one was on the regular BD, but NOT the 3D version.
