What i want to know is when are we getting yogi's treasure hunt and gobots vol 2? Still waiting on those. I even offered to give them some 80s gobots ads and comic scans but they said they have no plans for extras for the gobots. Bummer but i understand. Times are tough.

I do appreciate (most of) the 1970s and 80s H-B fare that Warner Archive has brought us .. but I still hope to eventually see more offerings of their mid-1960s shows, too: Quickdraw McGraw, Wally Gator, Atom Ant & Secret Squirrel, another volume of Huckleberry Hound, etc.

Apparently, music rights are an issue with some of these shows (since their underscores came partially from libraries licensed by H-B from Columbia/Screen Gems). Even so .. since Warner can air these cartoons on Boomerang without incident, surely home video clearance isn't an insurmountable hurdle..? :?

I'm a big fan of 60's-era H-B, so I'm in full agreement. This is one reason why I'm glad to still have my Atom Ant and Secret Squirrel LaserDiscs! :)

We haven't seen much movement on getting more 60's H-B for the past while, so I'm losing hope. I'd love to see more Ruff and Reddy too.

Likely no chance of Fantastic Four, either. :(

So, I'll take what I can get, I guess. Space Stars looks awesome, and I'm still looking forward to the Giligan ones, which were reportedly being remastered.

Whatever happened to the planned release of HB's first theatrical Loopy series? Did that come and go and I missed it?

No more mention of it, sadly. Hopefully still to come.

Batman brave and the bold blu-ray set. Why on earth is this not getting a full store release? It's batman.

My list so far: The Big Circus, Doc Savage, Captain Nemo And The Underwater City, and a couple of others more out of interest than anything else.

This week, I start catching up on some Warner Archive releases from the past while. First up: Captain Caveman!!

Coming up next is another H-B title from the 1970s, and then... an early anime import!

Great review. I used to watch captain caveman on the usa cartoon express. He later showed up on flintsone kids also. He was in an episode of scooby-doo mystery inc also.

One thing about your review however--
The sight gags are fun, too, with Cavey continually pulling all sorts of items out of her furry body
Cavey is not a girl.

Great for GoBots fans, but personally I'm way more excited about the possibility of more Jonny Quest.
