He didn't dislike the plays and mysteries he'd written--

He just didn't quite think that sentimental little kiddy piece about his son's stuffed animals would eclipse the entire rest of his work, and would be appropriately shelved along with his children poems.

I think if anybody disliked the books, it was the real Christopher Robin. Apparently, he was annoyed to get connected with them his entire life.

Keep in mind, AA milne wrote stories for grown-ups. So I guess being labled as a "children's author" over not knowing(or pretending not to know) that he did books for adults is pretty understandable.

Did anyone see the trailer of this film from Germany? I find it rather weird they market it as a spy film

Hey everyone, it's great to see some excitement about Winnie the Pooh. I'm here on behalf of Disney, and I thought I'd share a cool Winnie the Pooh personality quiz with you. It's pretty simple, and it only takes a minute.
It's on our Facebook page:

It says I'm Tigger, who are you?

I don't NEED a quiz to tell me I'm Eeyore (a rationalist and realist); I've known that most of my life.
(Still, three questions?...One off, and I could end up as Kanga.

Is Disney's marketing still being a dud on this feature?

Well, they showed the trailer before Cars 2 and it got a good reaction from the audience, so there's definitely some sort of interest in the air. How much of that will transform into box-office dollars, I have no idea.

When I saw Hop with my little neices and nephews, the trailer was shown in front of it. It was the Somewhere Only We Know version. The impression I got was that it was received well by the crowd. They did go very quiet when it was on. But I haven't seen anything else for it since, in fact I have no idea when it is expected in Australia. I do have the soundtrack for it though that I purchased from Amazon UK

I ended up being Kanga and Roo. Does that mean we have a split personality?

I ended up being Tigger for some oddball reason.
