As Macaluso said there was a trailer for IA3 before Horton. It was cute, a scrat chasing a nut segment. The dinosaur looked awesome.

I bet you there is going to be some nod to James Gurney's Dinotopia series in that film because he visited the studio a few months back. ^.^

I've seen the trailer now.

I always end up laughing so hard at Scrat. The movie will be worth seeing just for him. :D

Bootleg trailer is online now! Beware, it's of very bad quality.

Update: saw that it probably originates from Slashfilm: [LINK REMOVED]

Wherever the link came from, that's an illegal bootleg, so sorry but we can't endorse the inclusion here. :)

No probs Wendy! :)

We don't have so much problem with widely posted YouTube clips if they're promotional, unless they cleary breach copyright.

Since this was shot from a camera in a movie theater, there's no way that's legal, so we had to remove it for those reasons.

Thanks for understanding! :)

The Incredibles: released 5 November 2004.

Cars (trailered on The Incredibles): released 9 June 2006.

OMG! You think they shouldn't have previewed their next animated films because the release dates were so far apart???

I love Scrat. As mentioned before, I honestly believe he is the most successful CG character yet created in the medium, by anyone.

Something I wanted to mention: The teaser for this showed a good reason why I love Blue Sky so much. They're willing to completely break the rules and do things that usually only happen in 2D movies. They squash and stretch like a champ, most noticeably when Scrat is trying to reach his acorn but all but his eyeballs are frozen solid, so his eyes stretch like arms trying to reach the acorn.
