Ah yes, forgot about that.

That's another reason I'm extremely skeptical that they'd outsource Frog - they already have the shorts bit up and running, why wouldn't they be doing the same with films?

Well, in theory it would save them money, (even if it wouldn't look half as good.) :?

Plus, if the actual animation was being done overseas, it would, in essence, also free up John Lassetter's time with all the movies he has to supervise. I'm not saying that makes him "bad", just that pragmatically it makes sense--like the decision to move WDFA from Burbank, back to Glendale.

In my opinion, it's just another reason why it would make so much sense to turn the animation department over to Don Hahn or Glen Keane. That way, Lassetter can turn his full attention back to Pixar movies.

Eight minutes of animation doesn't equal the triumphant return of 2D Disney in my book. Wink

Hmmm....I guess so. But isn't it 15 minutes? :P

Don't forget the return of The Goof as well! Smile

Of course, how could I forget!? That's one of the pieces of animation I'm most looking forward to seeing.
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

I was under the impression it's eight...I could be wrong though. I'll double check.

I thought it was the opening 17 minutes in animation, but that's also including logos and credits, which is a couple.

So, more likely 15-ish. We need to intro the characters, sing a song, get the plot moving, etc, so 15 would give that more to breathe. I can't see it all being done in under eight.

I was under the impression that it was 15 minutes. They may break it up throughout the movie though. The first 8 minutes and then 7 minutes spread throughout the rest of the movie.

I'm hoping we get an animated resolve, somehow at least.

It reminds me of the old Beauty and the Beast logo :D,it's pretty but i don't like the pink on the Princess.

Agreed, eww! I much prefer the original look of the logo, which was all gold.

*shudders* I really don't like the purple part of the logo. I hope they alter it again, it is really blah. I mean the style of the text is fine but that purple blob..... whatever it's just a logo

Bolt and Rapunzel we've seen before, and that P&TF logo looks to be very, very temporary since it's only been put together using appropriate. but non-styled fonts.

Look for something like this, possibly, but that's not the final logo by a long shot. :)

Thanks, Prince Kido!

Y'know, after seeing that hideous logo, it makes this image 10 times better! Simply beautiful! The clouds look as though they were air/paint brushed and I'm loving the detail they put into the balcony - with the light going through the gaps.

I'm also getting a Return to Never-Land vibe. :)
