I reckon we'll get a few more posters before March 14, Meg. Lots of time for variants. They'll be wanting to get character impressions into our brains first, especially with the eye candy on show in the trailers.
Dead time to release it, though I guess Ice Age 2 did well thereabouts.
Is that Scrat on the Ice Age logo? Way to confuse things there, Blue Sky, unless they do in fact attach a new Scrat short, which would be pretty fun.

It shows.TAG Blog wrote:Horton is a very interesting and different project. Besides the story, the whole look has a unique palette of its own. Each and every inch of the movie was designed quite diligently to achieve the exact feel of the original art of Dr. Seuss without having to compromise within the technical boundaries ...
And I love the pic on that page: (likewise the ones wendy posted)

I've loved everything I've seen, production wise, on this film, since we started seeing things!
Blue Sky haven't always made the best pictures, but they're up there with Pixar, Disney and DreamWorks as being able to pull off the various "looks".
In fact, I'm wondering if they aren't Pixar's closest competition.

Very true, but I'm waiting to be truly wowed by a Sony film.
Shrek 2 did it for me with DreamWorks, and though I didn't like the story and characters, it was Robots for Blue Sky, who I know can do characters thanks to the Ice Ages.
I'm looking forward to this one to see if finally someone can do a perfect modern take on Seuss, because so far, no-one (Grinch, Cat) has...
