Just the usual "oh the story's bad" and some gripes about animation.
Granted this came pretty early in production, while they were also contending with setting up the facility, so it was to be expected.
From what I saw on Monday, Valiant was a great start to Vanguard's ambitions, and I stand by my points made above. Easily on a level - if not better - than Ice Age, and may there be many more like it.

Um, would that be the same magazing you "just found out about" that you're actually involved with and that you posted about here:muppet wrote:Just found out about a new 2D/3D animation magazine

You know, we don't mind you doing plugs for your own stuff, and there's no need to disguise the fact (nice superlatives, by the way)!
Congratulations in getting Big Animation/Skwigly off the ground in print.

So...you're spamming other forums?muppet wrote:Sorry it was a copy and paste. Yes i'm the editor -- i own the magazine and all that.
Seriously, you should go ahead and announce yourself as the creator of the mag - I bet you get more interest than going around the houses, and more support. Saying you "just found out" about a magazine you're editing comes off as "SPAM!" in my book.
Nevertheless, it's an achievement, and we'll bump it to the main page on our next update.

How would that work with your magazine being UK based and our site being primarily a US resource with US readers?
Chances are that an American reader would win a competition, or would you want to limit this to the UK?
Also, since I'm in the UK, any chance of a freebie in return for pushing the magazine on the site?
