Maybe they should do a massive franchise ending movie and kill 'em all off:

Eight Snow Buddies Dogs Below...

...where they all freeze and die a long slow painful frostbite death. They could do the Buddies version of Alive then, if they really wanted to squeeze one more out, but they really should let sleeping dogs die, uh, I mean...lie.

I liked the older movies, but now they are taking it kinda' far.
