WHat everyone else has been saying...Although it does sound a tiny bit like Happy Feet 2. Live-action actors on screen? NOOO!

Other than that, holy crap, I can't wait!

This film sounds absolutely amazing! I couldn't stop shaking when I read the article. It all sounds so original and exciting and to have the first act pretty much without dialogue is such a bold and daring move. I'm so glad that Pixar is trying something so radically different. The use of a real actor seems a bit strange but several o the old Disney films had it (ie Fun & Fancy Free) so I'm not really concerned about that.

BRING ON 2008!

I have to admit that I do adore Rubik's Cubes (particularly their look) and would love any animated film that features one! :)

Love this Simpsons reference:

Marge: Why don't we do something to take our minds off the storm?
[looks through a box]
Oooh, a Rubik's Cube! Let's all work it together.
Lisa: Okay, start with diagonal colors.
[Marge turns the cube]
Homer: Use your main finger on the yellow side and your other finger on
the orange side and turn it.
Marge: My main finger?
[the family begins to start all talking at the same time]
Bart: [simultaneously] Orange to orange!...
Lisa: [simultaneously] Now you have to turn it back, Mom...
Homer: [simultaneously] You gotta start backwards!
Bart: [simultaneously] Mom, Mom!
Lisa: [simultaneously] No, not so fast! No, ignore the red!
Bart: [simultaneously] No, no, no!
Homer: [simultaneously] Alternate corners!
Marge: One at a time!
Bart: Spin the middle side topwise. Topwise!
Marge: Now I remember why I put this down here in the first place!

They should have had a Rubik's cube in Knick Knack, or maybe a short film starring a Rubik's cube! :)

Oh well, better late than never!

Didn't they make a Rubik's cuve TV show back in the 80's?

JV, you are the man! Thanks for the great finds! :D

Regarding that Jim Hill article, the story sounds very, very good. And yeah, I'm now exited! Its also nice, getting confirmation about the no dialogue situation. Its both daring, and original! :)

OMFG! I just read the description of the film on Jim Hill... wow. This sounds like it will be such an epic movie and with such heart. I'm reallly excited about this movie now! I think it will be better than anything PIXAR has ever done. That article really got me pumped. AH!

And it better not disappoint because I'm so pumped about it that I'll be horrible mad.

Nothing can ever live up to expectations. Lower them a bit and you'll be thrilled! :)
