Aaagh, not a love story! I like the 'robot looking for a home' thing so much more. Ah well.

What do you/they mean by "with a special appearance by Buzz and Woody." That makes me sad.

Trailer of Toy Story 3 before the film probably.

I know, I know...It's just that I'm pretty sure we've already had a CGI movie about robots in love.

Rio and Daniel, I think the special appearance of Buzz and Woody were these guys:

To listen to Ed Catmull and John Lassetter talk about the PIXAR projects click the link below.

How likely do you think the rumours are of this being a silent film... or having very litle dialogue. Personally, I'd love to see that. It's so risky and daring, it would certainly get my vote.

Thanks for the answer, JV! :)

Oh, I would say the chances are good. And if it is, that makes all the more better, and something new for Pixar!

Only kidding. This actually sounds cute and interesting, very different from what I was expecting.

Here's lookin' at you, W.A.L.--E watchers!!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

When Pixar tries something different it usually ends up really really good.
This is looking extremely interesting!!
Cars was a step backwards for me (not saying it was bad), This is looking like a huge leap forward.

Guys this movie sounds like it will be the best Pixar film yet! :D

Guys really don't highlight these spoilers unless you don't care about spoilers
I love how WALL- E has a pet cockroach named Spot
"WALL E." Which plays out with little or no dialogue. By that I mean: The age-old trash-picking robot and the sleek new scanning droid may beep & boop at one another. But -- with the exception of the music & the dialogue that we hear coming from that VCR that plays "Hello, Dolly !" -- that's it. The rest of this section of Pixar's 2008 release is (in effect) a silent movie.
Pixar will defiantly win an Oscar with this film. :D

I'm loving this.

Can't quite work our why the humans don't know what's going on on the planet and why they don't sue the Buynlarge Corp and get more robots down there, but cutting those fringe holes away, this is shaping up to be something special.

Well judging from what was written, I'd say that the humans are just too lazy to care/do anything about it.

I really liked what I read. I was apprehensive about a dialogue-free movie, but if anyone can pull it off, it's Pixar. It sounds like it should be pretty awesome, especially since it's a sci-fi/fantasy/space thing. I'd love to see the different aliens that Pixar comes up with.

edit: Though I wouldn't be surprised if Spot talks.

WALL-E. sounds brilliant. Anticipating it more than Toy Story 3 actually.
