Finally saw the trailer yesterday at "Over the Hedge" (Meg wins the bet).
Anyway, I actually kinda like how this one looks.
Yes, there's a part of me that's saying that Aardman should stick to claymation, but on the other hand, it's quite facinating to see animators trying to capture the "Feel" of stop-motion using CGI. And it looks like they're doing that pretty well.
The teaser also knows when to quit. It shows us a quick look at Kate Winslet's character, and then it stops. How nice that we don't have everything given away six months before the film's release.
Oh, and I like the Nemo joke (didn't spot Gromit though).
And, BTW, I didn't have "First Flight" at "Over the Hedge". Was that just my screening, or were they not showing it anywhere?

BTW, I didn't have "First Flight" with OTH. Did anyone else?

You saw it here first folks! Ben has officially coined the word "ratzenberger". When Webster's explores the etymology of this word for future editions of their dictionary, Animated News will be listed as the publication with the first recorded use!Ben wrote:And the Luxo ball in Toy Story (in fact I think the Luxo ball turns up in all their movies, like a visual Ratzenberger).
