How are you going to be able to go and report on it?

Well, that helps. =P

I meant how are you able to get in? I mean, it's not the World Premiere. I'm sure the screening/conference you're going to isn't open to the public.

Hey! There are last two characters (Sheriff and Mack) added in the "Cars" showroom :) ...and a bunch of new hi-res pics in "portrait" section in every characters's profile. What's more: there are two more video clips in "view ads" section ("Nascar" and "Hopes & dreams"). Enjoy! :D

Will they do some kind of dedication to Joe Ranft?
Wow it's so sad about this guy. :(

Probably the movie will have a dedication to him in the begining no matter what the location. (like Shrek 2 and William Steig, Lion King and Frank Wells)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

I still think it's creepy that his last movie was Cars, and he died in a car accident.

Well, anyway...It's such a shame. He was someone I was hoping I'd get to work with one day, but that'll never happen now. Poor guy. He was so talented.

I just know they'll do something nice for him that night.

He did provide the voice to Red the firetruck before he died. A hug loss to the animation industry! Taking a look at the movies he's been involved is impressive: Lion King, Corpse Bride, Pixar's....

Yeah, it is...

The worst part of his death was that he was still so young.

"Cars" is just one month away...

Post by ElFlorro » May 8th, 2006, 5:15 pm

On June, 9th everyone (in the US) can see "Cars" in cinemas. Do you think people will love it like other Pixar movies?

I think it'll do good, but not as good as other Pixar films.

I think it will be a huge hit ($210m+) but not as big as Nemo, MI or Incredibles.

I voted that it will be successful, but it won't top The Incredibles or Toy Story/TS2. Then again, it's awfully hard for me to compare anything to TI.
