Re: Star Trek
If someone can shove it in a spoiler tag, I’d love to know how they got over the fan-split decision they made with Picard at the end of the first season…? Apparently he’s not now what he became at the end there? Or is he still? I’m not likely to ever get around to watching this, but I’m intrigued so feel free to spoil me…in a hidden post of course!

Re: Star Trek
I would assume he is still what he was at the end of the first season. No reason to reverse it.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Re: Star Trek
Stewart apparently wanted a somewhat different “episode finale” (last scene of the series) for STP. Also, he’s been pushing for a standalone Picard movie:

Re: Star Trek
And I was! Well, not in San Diego, but I did see it opening week. I was nine years old, and it was very exciting. I already loved Star Trek, and had an aunt who was also a fan, so she took me. I recall not thinking it had the right tone to match the show, and the editing was rough in spots (mostly noticing the looooooong flyby sequence with the Enterprise in drydock) but I still loved it. I had only been a Trekkie for about two years, but couldn't' have been more excited.
