Double ugh!!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

If it's wacky animals, and Summit acquiring a third-party indie Studio Canal production....somewhere overseas, I'm guessing.Dacey wrote:Seriously, where the actual heck did this come from?
The English and Germans are the only ones still "selling" in-3D CGI as a thing, and the animation's too good to be Spanish or Brazilian.
(And whew--Thought this was about that abandoned Stainton-era "NYC supermodel/party-culture animals" movie that ended up as a Disney art book.
CtToI, that could have ended up as Zootopia.)

Re: The Wild Life
Quick search on iMDB shows that the movie is Belgian/French and was called Robinson Crusoe over there.

Another bomb for Lionsgate...

Quality of The Wild Life and Norm aside (neither of which I have seen), the studio really should've been able to make a late summer hit out of Shaun (which also opened to less than a million on opening day). Seems they really don't know how to do this.

Re: The Wild Life
The movie is really interesting. I watched it today and I enjoyed it very much. I had a flashback to my childhood when I was watching cartoons every day. From my point of view, it has a very deep sense. I am a big animal lover. But, last week I had a very awful experience. My backyard was properly invaded by a lot of squirrels. It was very annoying. Luckily, I found some guys that are catching the squirrels. They came very fast and caught all the squirrels in a few hours. After this, the little squirrels were released into the wild.

I have yet to see this. No real desire, though.
