Most anticipated Disney animated sequel of 2006?

Post by Josh » December 30th, 2005, 2:06 pm

What is your most anticipated Disney animated sequel of 2006? My choice is Bambi II, because 1) its animation calls to mind the rich traditional animation Disney once prided itself in, and 2) early word is that the film is wonderful.

Bambi 2. Not interested in Brother Bear 2, never even saw the first one...As for Fox and the Hound 2, it could be cute, but otherwise meh.

I voted for "Bambi II".

I think the question should be "which Disney sequel are you least least-anticipating"!?

I think I'd go for Bambi too, since early word is pretty good, for the kind of rubbish it will likely end up being.

I don't think Bambi needs a midquel, sequel, prequal or whatever you want to call it, and I haven't seen the original Brother Bear. The only one up there that kinda interests me is Fox and the Hound 2, since I liked Tod and Copper better as kids anyway.

Wow, I've finally met someone who's actually looking forward to "Fox and the Hound 2".

Perhaps it's an English thing?

"Horses for courses" is very much like "each to their own", in reference to your looking forward to Fox And The Hound II (or 2 by the time it gets released).

BTW, who the heck is that in your avatar pic? Bosworth as Lois in Superman Returns??

Ah, okay. Yes, each to their own. "Horses for courses". I learn something new everyday.

Yes, it's Bosworth as Lois in "Superman Returns" :)

If you squint, it looks like Emma Watson. o_O

(BTW, I've never heard anyone say 'horses for courses'. I think it IS an English thing...)

That's funny...I actually thought it might be Anna Paquin--you know, Rogue from X-Men.

Btw, I'm actually *not* all that excited about "Fox and the Hound 2", to be honest.

I'd like to see all three of them actually. I am a traditional animation/animal nut, so they all go well with me :p
I guess my most anticipated would be Bambi II; the animation looks well done from the trailers. :)
Dont know much about what the other two will be about.
