Jim uses a lot of "According to", "reported" and "allegedly" in this article, but it's a good read ;) If it IS true, I'm VERY excited.

Go Big John!

Is Tom Schumaker still at Disney Theatrical?

Wonder if his days are numbered, too....

JL might not care so much what happens with the theatrical division.

In all honesty, I'm willing to bet that Pixar and Disney stay together. I'll eat my Incredibles movie poster and send you all the video if they don't.
Good thing they stayed together!

Nobody really has an idea yet of exactly what the cost is of killing off the Disney Feature Animation Studios yet, but I think we'll see it in the next 10 years when somebody in management gets the big idea in their head to really re-start the DFA division. It'll be interesting to see how much money was squandered by shutting it down in the first place!
Now this will definetely be interesting to see. :)

We got this email in about Jim Hill's latest column:

"I like your site a lot, but I have to warn you about the Jim Hill story. I can assure you that the incidents he mentioned about John visiting Circle 7 are simply not true...so I have to question the validity of the rest of the article. Unfortunately this kind of stuff just spreads out all kinds of misinformation that simply doesn't benefit anyone. Just thought I'd pass on that info to you. All the best."

no big surprise... Hill has all kinds of sources and uses all kinds of words, but all he does is spread rumours. I'm sure Lasseter is very busy trying to get a good view of where to start and with what. I doubt he's already out there firing people.

As I've said before "Jim Hill doesn't always have the best info."

Unfortunately, we never quote or credit email submissions without the sender's expressed request, so am unable to say.
