Weird, because it kind of feels very different yet not that different at the same time.

Well, it *is* the same actor, recording the same lines, to the same timing…so no wonder it doesn’t feel too different. And it’s only certain words that often have an accented "twang" on them, plus these clips are so short that you don’t quite get the chance to hear more of the intonation between the two, but Myers definitely nailed the character in "take two"!

Actually, Robin was in consideration for The Joker, too, and he wanted it - and he was reportedly even offered the role as a nudge to get Nicholson to accept.

I'm still bitter that he got neither Joker or Riddler. Robin as a Batman villain would have been divine.
