I'm also a member of the Replica Prop Forum (people who like to build or buy replicas of props and miniatures used in motion pictures/TV) and this video was posted by another fellow in a thread about two kids involved in a fatal sword accident.
Now, the guy in this video probably got out okay. If he learned anything, it's that you DON'T play around with any sword made of metal or wood -- especially a cheap one that ISN'T rated for sword-on-sword combat.
Most replica swords are not made for actual sword combat at medieval fairs. They're only safe for hanging or posing in pictures. Many of the swords under $300 WILL break with possibly fatal consequences for their owners or friends.
