I believe 2D will be big again someday. I mentioned somewhere else on A-N (but I forget where) that now that Pixar and Disney have merged, they were maybe thinking of starting some 2D films. I can't remember where I heard that rumor, but wouldn't it be wonderful if it happened? I totally think Pixar could pull it off nicely.

But too bad Pixar can't go independent.

Seein those two names always gets my heart a skipping. (BTW I watched Incredibles yesterday and enjoyed it a bit more, so there's hope yet)

Ok, this is a dumb question. I know John is John Lasseter, and I SHOULD know who Ron is, but I don't. Who is he??

No John is John Musker and Ron is Ron Clements. They're the writing and directing duo behind Basil The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, HERCULES and Treasure Planet.

Ohhhh. Heheh. Oops. Wrong company.

I know them though, especially since they worked on Hercules...which I still say is the best of Disney's animated films!
