I recently watched an anime and saw these flags. What do you think they have analogues in our world and what could they mean?
How well you understand geography and most importantly your imagination.

The flags that Umi raises mean U and W in international flag language. The two letters mean, "I wish you a pleasant voyage". At one point, Umi raises the flags that spell out Hokuto, which Shun translates for the audience. Shun's flags on the tugboat say UW MER, which are seen again in Sachiko's painting.

I don't understand the meaning very well, but I like how it looks!

I would definitely put a flag like this in as a sign of pride or something like that. I like the cartoon so much, and to be able to put a flag like this in my garden is a powerful thing. Also, it’s important to notice that I have recently found out that there are such things as flag lighters. I don’t know how to explain it to you, better take a look yourself solar flag pole light. It’s amazing that it uses solar energy, because the future is after recycled energy, believe me. If you are interested, just take a look.
