The Gorillaz
I dunno, I just figured some sort of discussion could come of these guys.
Recently I went to their site and and watched their "Clint Eastwood" music video again. It was a while since I saw it, and was dying to watch it again. Anyway, the music seemed to strike me a lot more than they did a few years ago when I would actually WATCH MTV. And plus, I haven't really listend to any of their songs SINCE then, cause I thought they just faded out into obscurity, since I hadn't heard anything about them in a while. And the people that watch MTV anymore don't really seem like the kind of people that appreciate an all animated band.
So I went onto Limewire and started downloading some of their songs (OHNOS CROOK!) and... I was floored by the amount of songs that they've done that I HAVE heard before. Besides their music videos, which are just so friggen neat (especially compared to the crap MTV spits out anymore), their songs were all so awesome. So I go around the net and such, and see that they are still really popular. Now I've got a bunch of their songs playing on my computer right now.
So um... Anyway, what's you all's opinions on The Gorillaz?

Love 'em.
The 2D/3D style of the animation, the groovy tracks - did you know they have just released another album, and there's a single out in the UK right now with a DVD video attached?
Don't know if you get this stuff in the States, but there was also Celebrity Take Down (I swear I've written this here in the past) which was all their videos up to the last point.
I'm sure there was an NTSC version available and it came in cool packaging.
