Re: Disney Movie Rewards
DMR now has the Monday Deal going for 7/9/12, with a grab-bag "Mystery DVD" for 150 points, in addition to this year's Facebook-only contest:
http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/re ... rydvd-6528
(Given the DVD's they do have, I'm expecting to get something they wouldn't WANT to tell us about, like Rocketman, the Princess DVD Game, or Herbie Reloaded--But polished up, it could probably bring another four bits on Amazon, and I'll make the 150 points back as soon as my Treasure Planet Blu arrives. )

Re: Disney Movie Rewards
Thanks to Dan for keeping us DMR updated!
A question: I'm not covering the new Tinker Bell movie and would have been happy with the BD/DVD edition (non-3D) but it looks like it's been dropped (3D combo and DVD package only). Amazon has the 3D set for $30 at the moment but DMR just sent out a $5 off coupon - but it looks like it only works in store. Does anyone know if there's a code on the coupon that Amazon will accept?
If it comes to it I'll have to get it for $30 at Amazon, but this is a secondary kind of title that I'd be happier to get $5 off! So...does the coupon work at Amazon or will I have to just get it there for $30 (I'd rather keep my Tink collection complete than not). Thanks!

Some recent rewards:
"Wreck-it-Ralph" 8-bit Kids Watch - 1100 points
"Wreck-it-Ralph" 8-bit Shaped Adult Watch - 1575 points
"Wreck-it-Ralph" Video Game Shaped Alarm Clock - 1500 points
Princess 3-Wheel Scooter - 3100 points
Mickey Santa Vinylmation 850 points
Wave Board 360 - 4500 points
"Pluto: A Faithful Friend" - 3200 points
The Ralph alarm looks pretty sweet. I'm really tempted to redeem it.
Also, DMC related, the club titles are now available through Disneystore.com! Now I can finally buy the Kim Possible season sets at cost and not pay ridiculous ebay prices. Or wait and see if DMR ever gets them again and waste points. Yay!

Re: Disney Movie Rewards
Oh that's pretty cool - finally I can pick up some of the rare Disney titles I've been after (Incredible Journey, Castaway Cowboy, Emil And The Detectives for starters!) without waiting to see if they'd ever become available through Movie Rewards.
The only downside...here's yet another fistful of hard-earned gone!

(And me here stuck with exactly 26 points after maxing out their last sweepstakes.
That February Peter Pan disk can't come soon enough.)

Re: Disney Movie Rewards
Anyone else having trouble entering their DMR account? I've tried a few times now to enter my username and password, but when I click "sign in" or my keyboard's enter key the "sign in" button just disappears and I get an "error on page" message. I've tried logging in on different pages and it's always the same. I can get through on my phone...
...ah, the thought of trying my phone got me to try via another browser. Looks like it's some IE issue...!?

Re: Disney Movie Rewards
With WDCC being discontinued, I decided to burn the points that I've been saving up and got the following:
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe Blu Ray Combo
The Muppets Blu Ray Wocka Wocka Combo with digital copy and soundtrack download (that still worked despite being over a year past the expiration date)
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride DVD (the movie directed by Terry Jones and also featuring other Monty Python alumni)
"Get a Horse!" Commemorative Lithograph

Re: Disney Movie Rewards
I'd been holding out for the Mickey & Minnie "Mickey Mouse Club" bandleader set at DMC. Sadly, though I got close, their supply vanished before I got all the way there. So, I burned through most of my points with Inspector Gadget, The Watcher in The Woods, the Buzz & Woody bobblehead set (actually quite nice), and the Donald Duck Happy Camper statue (I'm not particularly in love with it, but it was about the only statue left).
Once my new DMC order arrives, I'll be able to use my points to grab that "Get a Horse!" litho, if I'm not too late.

I got lucky when I got the WDCC Ariel "Seaside Serenade" and the Tron: Flynn bust when I had the chances to get them. I just wish I could've gotten the Mulan and Khan statue when it was available.

Is DMR under threat of closure, or is WDCC referring to the Walt Disney Classics Collection of figurine statues? That's a shame if they aren't going to produce any more...I had an eye on quite a few of those (prohibitive to get to England, though, although source-able over here from a few limited places), especially through DMR (again, a bit of a drag to get to me, so my points usually go to DVDs and Blus). I also have Mr Toad's Wild Ride on my wishlist alongside the Get A Horse! Litho, although I think the other discs I have on the list may take precedent and are easier to get to me.
