No, not all of you are annoying.
Does that mean that SOME of us are?
But anyway, and I don't worry I won't crticize you or anything: I'd just like to know: Why does DW p*** you off?
It's cool: I promise I won't lead the thread off topic or get into another drawn-out "debate"....I'm just curious.
Is it just Over the Hedge you don't like or all of DW's films?

Nah, I won't talk about what I usually talk about...I was curious as to why he felt that way, that's all.

NO! This is my thread! We're not turning it into another "DreamWorks Vs. Disney/Pixar/Whatever debate!
Anyway, it looks like there's a new contender for this year's Best Picture Oscar. And a very strong one at that:

It's really cute. Reminds me of Hop and Lo (the Siamese Cats in Lady and the Tramp) on an acid trip.
(I hope I didn't mess up their names.
)

I'm still shocked Cars didn't receive a nomination for "Best Original Song." In my opinion, "Our Town" is one of the best tunes Newman's written for a film.
However, all hope is not lost for Newman to still score an Oscar nod for the song. Keep in mind that Newman's "If I Didn't Have You" from Monsters, Inc. wasn't nominated for a Golden Globe either. The tune went on to win an Oscar and a Grammy, though.

Well I'm quite biased when it comes to the whole DW thing but they sure don't get me excited. One reason I definately respect PIXAR over DW is because they don't over do things. Dang, Dreamworks Animation sure releases a LOT of movies. Quality is not quantity. I also admire how PIXAR keeps their fans waiting for trailers and other information on their movies. It's a very Hollywood things that most studios can't do. I never like the way Dreamworks maketed their stuff... they market in the tackiest, cheesiest ways.
I do this at my other forum...
Here are my predictions for The Golden Globes winners by the way:
Best Motion Picture
The Departed
Best Motion Picture -- Musical or Comedy
Dreamgirls
Best Director
Martin Scorsese - The Departed
Best Actor
Peter O'Toole - Venus
Best Actress
Helen Mirren - The Queen
Best Actor -- Musical or Comedy
Sacha Baron Cohen - Borat (not sure...)
Best Actress -- Musical or Comedy
Meryl Streep - The Devil Wears Prada
Best Supporting Actor (close...)
Eddie Murphy- Dreamgirls
Jack Nicholson - The Departed
Best Supporting Actress
Jennifer Hudson- Dreamgirls
Best Screenplay
The Departed
Best Animated Feature
Cars
Best Foreign Language Film
Volver
Best Original Song
Listen - Dreamgirls

Okay, now I know someone's trying to start a fight.
No nomination for "Flushed Away". That's just not right.
Dag-gum, I'm talking in rhyme.
