I’m kind of hoping Puss pulls an upset. Everything I’ve heard about it indicates it’s fantastic. And its been a word of mouth hit, too. I can’t wait to watch it.

Ooh, interesting! It is the one I’m probably most excited about seeing next.

Oh! Thank god, James! It’s good to have such a companionship in misery! This movie is suspiciously (and criminally) overlooked during this awards season…James wrote: ↑January 28th, 2023, 11:00 pmYou're not alone here my friend!

Coincidence? I think NOT!

I'll be honest I keep forgetting that Dreamworks Animation is still releasing stuff - especially anything that's an 'original' property.

I didn't even know it was a DWA picture at first, until the trailer played up the "Everyone picks on us!" angle.

Cute illustration of all the Best Picture nominees: (Larger)
Amazing and so creative! Love the one for Elvis and Fabelmans.

I like how Triangle of Sadness is titled.

Kinda surprised The Fabelmans didn't get at least one Oscar. Not that it sounds like it deserved one, but still.

Nah, if Fabelmans got anything, it should have been for Williams. I’d have like to have seen Butler win for Elvis, and Elvis again for Cinematography, Prod Design and Costumes, and it would have been fair for Banshees to get Screenplay, but otherwise I think the awards went to the right places. It was a good show.

The "show" was just okay (a little under-produced, with a sleepy host - but at least it wasn't overly political or controversial), but I loved seeing the winners I hoped to see!

Yeah, that was one of my favorite moments. He's still that little kid when Indy is around!
